Resources for North Carolina Exporters
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) State Trade Expansion Program (STEP), offers qualifying North Carolina businesses up to $3,000 for airfare and lodging expenses related to exhibiting jointly with the EDPNC at an international trade show or on their own; up to $5,000 to register an individual trade show booth; up to $8,000 total in website localization projects, and up to $6,000 total in design of marketing media.
The STEP program provides you with a grant of $8,000 for your North Carolina Online Global Programs, so your business will benefit from best-practice, optimally localized business development websites, so your company will be found, be understood, and be easy to do business with in your target markets. Companies can apply for STEP directly through the EDPNC website.
