KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTION
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPORTING

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLANNING

  • Strategic and tactical business development planning
  • Research and evolve our inbound business development best practices
  • Review and evolve our Service Level Agreement (SLA) with marketing team
  • Review and evolve our business development processes and playbook
  • Determine business development key performance indicators (KPI’s)

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTION

  • Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s): Research, Prospect and outreach, Build rapport, Find a solution, Close the deal
  • Hubspot information recording and maintenance: pipeline of contacts, companies, tasks, deals…
  • Application of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the marketing team (online marketing activities…)
  • Application of the business development processes and playbook (templates, emails, presentations, proposals, call scripts, automation, sequencing…)
  • Activities: emails, calls, social media outreach, meetings, roadshows, and presentations
  • Buyers journey decision stage management: nurture Opportunities and Deals, until Closing
  • Closing new business consistently

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPORTING

  • Weekly, monthly, and annual reports preparation and review
  • Hubspot sales dashboard: performance, productivity, deals closed v’s goal, team activity, deals forecast, tasks
  • Reports include: Contacts, Lifecycle Stage Funnel, Revenue, Companies, and Wins/Losses

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven business development experience, in a B2B services environment 
  • Experience of exporting and international business 
  • Multi-national/lingual/cultural 
  • Knowledge of websites, search engine optimization and social media 
  • Desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals 
  • Strong self-organizational and time management skills 
  • Excellent communications skills and public speaking 
  • Academic qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree; Marketing and sales certification is a plus
  • IT high-end user, experience with use of Hubspot, LinkedIn, GoToWebinar, MS 365 suite or similar systems

REMUNERATION AND WHERE WE WORK

Remuneration is commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience. There is a fixed salary, a variable bonus linked to mutually agreed key performance indicators, and a range of benefits.

IBT Online is a remote-first company. Team members can choose to work fully remotely, from one of our Spaces Offices, or a mix of the two.

There are 5 recruitment stages, ensuring cultural fit, professional alignment, and that we can build your career and IBT Online together. The process will take approx. 1 month. We will keep you informed of progress at each stage.

  • Stage 1: Application review. We will review your cover letter and resume to see if there is a “good cultural and professional match”. For guidance re culture, please do also see our IBT Online team and Mission, Vision, and Values webpages.
  • Stage 2: Initial interview. You’ll interview for 30 minutes using MS Team with 1 or 2 IBT Onliners to learn more about you, review your cover letter and resume together, introduce IBT Online as well as questions and answers.
  • Stage 3: Application and interview review. We will review your application, and the results of your interview, assessing the alignment of the stated key responsibilities and ideal candidate qualifications.
  • Stage 4: In-depth interview. You’ll interview for 60 minutes using MS Team with 1 or 2 IBT Onliners to validate your skills, qualifications, and experience, discuss remuneration and where to work. This is where we ask for supporting documentation (identification, reference list, letters of recommendation, employment, and educational certifications…). Also, you can learn more about IBT Online, the team, management, daily work, get real insights into what your future career.
  • Stage 5: Application, interviews review, and decision. We will review your application, the results of your interviews, evaluate and validate your skills, qualifications, and experience, the documentation received, and contact your references. Final assessment and decision.
